Nope! I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots that yield unflattering facial expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.

To put it simply, sessions are based on a flat rate. If you want multiple outfits, that is totally fine! Before consideration, please keep in mind that outfit changing time, will be deducted from your session time.

More outfits = less shooting time = less images in your final gallery

Mini sessions are limited to only one outfit.

This is a question I get pretty regularly and, to be honest, the question is not easily answered. While it’s true that I generally create between 30 and 70 finished images per hour, you’ll see that I do not make promises about the quantity of images, only the quality.
To sum things up, the amount of photos you receive will depend on a few factors - context, weather, control, and age.

All photo galleries are delivered to your email via Pixieset.

Step 1: Access your Pixieset gallery. You will receive an email or a text with the link and password once your images are ready for viewing.

Step 2: Click on the Download icon. It’s the icon between the Favorite (heart) button and the Share button.


Step 3: Enter your email address and the 4 digit PIN that was sent to you. This way you can download the full gallery or individual photos.

You can also select where you would like the download to be sent when it's ready - to your Computer as a .ZIP file, or directly to yourr Dropbox or Google Photos account. The email address provided will only be used to notify them when your .ZIP file of images is ready to be Downloaded (in case you do not wish to wait on the Download page for this to be completed). The email you receive will also include the link you will need to access your images, and Download the .ZIP file to your computer.

Side note: Pixieset does not email you for any other reason.

Step 4: Choose what size you’d like the images to download in. The choices are Web Size – perfect for sharing on social media! These files usually have a logo on the bottom side. Or High Resolution – for printing even large files! Make sure that you order your prints with a semi professional lab, like MPix. But I would be happy to tell you more about the printed products I offer, to get the highest quality prints and wall art.

Once you’ve decided which size you’d like, click Download! The next screen will pop up saying that your photos are being fetched and soon another download button will appear.

I always suggest scheduling maternity sessions around 7-8 months, or 32-36 weeks, before the final month of pregnancy. If it’s your first, you’ll be amazed at how much that baby grows in the final month! A lot of moms also feel increasingly uncomfortable and experience water retention, so we like to capture moms when the bellies are nice and full but not TOO full :)

Trust the process! Editing simply cannot be rushed. Expect 1-3 weeks for the delivery of your final gallery (does not include wedding galleries). This is subject to change during peak season.

Wedding galleries typically 8-12 weeks.

I do offer a 24-hour Prioritization Fee of $75.
What is this? Basically, if you need your photos in a rush, your gallery is bumped to the top of my editing queue and you will have your session delivered within 24 hours from the time the fee is paid.

Yes, and no. You will not be charged for travel anywhere within 25 miles of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

If the location of our session is further than 25 miles from Cedar Rapids, $50/hr (to + from) will be added to your total.
